Wax Melts F.A.Q

How do I use wax melts?

Snap off a cube of wax from your clamshell and place in the top well of your burner and place a 4 hour tealight in the base below. Please do not use an 8 hour tealight or more than one at a time. Once the melt is no longer releasing any scent it's time to change and clean your burner.

Please do not overfill the well. Keep burners away from draughts, children and pets. Do not move a lit burner as they can get very hot. My melts are also suitable to use in electric burners but please be aware that they do not reach the same temperature as a tealight burner, therefore the scent throw may not be as strong.

How do I change a wax melt?

There are a couple of different ways to remove the wax once it is no longer releasing any scent. My preferred way is to place a lit tealight in the base and after about a minute you should be able to pop the wax out, I use a cotton wool pad to slide it out. Wipe clean and replace with a new melt. Alternatively you can wait for the wax to completely melt and place a few cotton wool pads in to soak up all the wax. Burners should be cleaned regularly and  thoroughly. Please make sure that they are completely dry of any water before using. DO NOT use a knife to scrape out the wax as this can damage the well of the burner causing it to crack.
